Tensions

Filling holes is a corrective action.

Something does not work and we put a patch on it.

No choice.

A hole is static.

Solving gaps is a proactive action.

Seizing opportunities.

A gap is dynamic.

It’s about identifying or creating tensions* and using them to connect and create bridges.

Those who decide to solve the gaps and occupy the empty spaces are those who lead.

*tensions requires action and change as they show us the possibilities. A good definition of tension in such a context is provided by Seth Godin and can be found here.
